The facility boasts the RMH Funkhouser Women’s Center. This freestanding building on the Sentara RMH Medical Center campus will meet the health needs of the women in our community for generations to come.
Sentara also offers the Sentara RMH Orthopedic Services facility, designed to meet the needs of athletes and recreationalists of all ages, shapes and sizes. The facility employs specialists in sports medicine, joint replacement, spinal surgery, hand surgery and more.
Sentara RMH Medical Center ranks among the top healthcare facilities in Virginia. In 2014,
U.S. News & World Report ranked Sentara RMH
#15 out of 129 hospitals in Virginia. Additionally, the facility ranked as “high performing” in three specialties: gastroenterology and GI surgery, geriatrics and pulmonology.
